Work coats built for cold and wet
DRI Duck's canvas and Boulder Cloth coats (Kodiak, Laredo, Rambler, Horizon) and Ariat Rebar DuraCanvas and Cordura ripstop jackets are made for outdoor crews. The classic Dickies insulated Eisenhower jacket and Red Kap lined work jackets remain the standard for shop and fleet programs. For wet climates, look at the Portwest and DRI Duck rain shells and packable jackets.
Softshells and corporate jackets
Softshells and lighter insulated jackets work for field managers, sales teams and office staff who spend part of the day outside. Edwards Garment adds soft shell, performance and sweater-knit jackets that match its uniform shirts, for hospitality, security and front-desk programs.
Decorating outerwear the right way
Left chest and upper back are the best logo spots on a jacket. One detail to know: every embroidery needle hole goes through the fabric, so embroidering straight through a waterproof shell compromises its waterproofing at the logo. On rain gear we recommend a heat-applied logo or a patch, or placing embroidery where it does not matter, such as a storm flap. Insulated canvas and fleece-lined jackets take embroidery without that concern.
ANSI-rated hi-vis jackets and parkas are in High-Visibility & Safety, and FR jackets are in Flame-Resistant Workwear.

Frequently asked questions
Can you embroider a waterproof jacket?
We can, but stitching through a waterproof membrane lets water in at the logo. For rain jackets we usually recommend a heat-applied logo or a sewn patch placed on a non-critical panel.
What is the most popular logo placement on a work jacket?
A left-chest logo with a larger logo across the upper back. The back logo is what people see on a jobsite.
